How do I get a receipt?

Once your order is complete, we’ll send you an email confirmation. This email will include a copy of the license you’ve purchased.

Can I use Apple Pay?

Alamy does not currently support Apple Pay. However, we accept all major credit or debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) as well as PayPal.

How do I receive a refund?

Unfortunately, Alamy's general terms do not allow any refunds, unless stated otherwise.

How can I buy stock images?

If you are ready to buy stock images and video clips on Alamy , here's how:

Why am I facing payment issues on Alamy?

If you're experiencing issues with your payment, please check the following: 

  • Card Issuing Bank: 

If your payment has been declined by the card issuing bank, it might be due to the 3D Secure one-time passcode security measure. Please contact your bank for more information. 

  • Browser Issues: 

Most of our customers who experience purchase issues have found that using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge allows for a smoother transaction. 

Clearing your cookies and browser data can often resolve the issue. 

  • Billing Address: 

Ensure you are entering your full billing address. The address should match the one your card is registered to, as discrepancies may cause the bank to decline the transaction.  

If none of the above helps, please send us a screenshot of the error message you are receiving so that we can escalate your case to our IT team. 

How do I change my login currency to match my Credit Account currency?

If the currency in your Credit Account doesn’t match your login currency, you’ll need to update it before completing your order. Here’s how:

  • Click My Account in the top-right corner of the page.

  • Select Account Overview from the menu.

  • Go to Payment Options.

  • Use the currency drop-down to choose the currency that matches your Credit Account.
